This is for Illustration Friday's topic 'Welcome.' This was done as one of my Lunch Bag Art pieces that I do for my son. Inspired by our dog Zoey who welcomes us by barking and scratching on the door.
My name is David Laferriere, I am a graphic designer and illustrator. My main focus has always been the reader. The reader needs to react to my work, by getting into the story, or by taking in information from my page design, graphic or illustration.
When working on a project I like to know the target audience and what may pique their interest. It is my goal to use my news sense and design skills to get that target audience to become engaged.
